Most practices are fueled by referrals. A recent survey of 200 physicians by Par8o shows the financial impact of weekly referrals. The lifetime value of 50 referred patients per week translates to a lifetime value of over $200,000 in practice revenue. The majority of physicians surveyed reported that more than half of their new patients come from referrals. For specialists, 65% reported depending on referrals for more than half of their new patients. Read More

In the exciting start-up environment, growth is an every day occurrence. Team members quickly learn to jump on a train heading in a new, exciting direction. One direction I recently headed was two hours south of our Durham OnPulse headquarters to Charlotte, the Queen City. With our communications manager, Louise, firing a list of possible questions from the passenger’s seat, I spoke aloud our OnPulse mission and key messages.
