As a Benefit and Billing Specialist at OnPulse, you're given the opportunity to simplify and enhance our clients' healthcare experience. For many, making sense of medical claims and benefit coverage is confusing and time consuming. We want your expertise to generate clarity for our clients and to increase our overall service value.

This position requires stellar medical billing and some coding abilities. We loved those who pay supreme attention to detail and have a detailed knack for reviewing insurance claims, denials, EOBs, etc for accuracy and errors. We seek those who are passionate about improving the healthcare experience as it also requires the ability to swiftly and creatively utilize cost effective insurance solutions for our clients.


Activities may include but are not limited to:

  • Exceeding client expectations in ALL interactions and communication channels measured by client surveys (NPS)
  • Educating prospective clients, current clients and OnPulse team members to better understand medical benefits and billing
  • Assisting clients in selecting the right benefits package based on health risks and history
  • Supporting all customer support and business development activities
  • Applying all talents, networking and credibility to achieve OnPulse’s mission and vision
  • Redesigning current workflow to simplify and enhance the client experience
  • Setting objectives for benefit and billing business strategy
  • Participating in onsite visits to Employers


Performance metrics:

  • Maintain an average NPS score of >8 out of 10
  • Exceeding expectations on team-based peer reviews
  • Exceeding expectations on team-based projects



  • Flexible schedule as our service is on demand
  • Minimum commitment of 10 hours per week (upwards of 30+ for right candidate)
