Nkundwe Mwaikambo

“The ability to access my provider’s knowledge and experience and share with them a holistic view of my health goes a long way to having a real conversation with real actionable steps that can save my life before knowing my life needed saving.”

Nkundwe is called Nick by almost everyone. He’s of Tanzanian descent (in case you were wondering where the name came from) and yes, he does speak Kiswahili. He welcomes most challenges as opportunities and all opportunities as growth to his knowledge and experience.

His journey thus far has taken him from the world of web development and design, through the patient-to-provider communication and the EMR world. Now, at OnPulse, a solution that addresses a lot of the questions and shortcomings that were raised by his customers during his patient portal and EMR days, Nick is excited by the opportunities ahead.

Nick says, “There is no question that the cloud is here and it is here to stay. The real question is, how do we leverage such advances in our tech know-how to improve our way of life. Online banking, e-ticketing, emails, streaming media, social networking…why not my well-being?”

Why OnPulse? Doctor(s) have a snapshot of clinical information at any given moment in time. “What if they had access to the most up-to-date information about my health and to my historical data with contact information of the providers that helped me?” The possibilities are endless!
